What is GEO?
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization: making sure AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews know, trust and mention your business in their answer. With SEO you work towards a place in the list of links; with GEO towards a mention in the answer itself.
Is the analysis really free?
Yes. You get the full report as a PDF, with your score and your biggest issues, even if you do nothing further with us. We do this because the report speaks for itself.
What does GEO cost at het geobureau?
The one-off analysis and repair costs € 500 to € 1.500. Monthly follow-up costs € 2.000 to € 3.000 per month (Starter) or € 3.000 to € 5.000 per month (Growth). All amounts excl. VAT, monthly packages cancellable monthly. The exact price depends on the size of your site and you receive it after the analysis.
How quickly will I see results?
You will see technical fixes reflected in your score within a few weeks. A mention in AI answers usually takes a few months, because AI search engines only reread your site and the sites that write about you over time. That is why we measure every month and show you the difference.

Does GEO replace my SEO?
No, it builds on it. Much of what AI search engines need (speed, clear structure, structured data) also helps in Google. We leave your existing SEO intact and add to it.
How do you measure whether it works?
With a score out of 100 per component, every month again. We also test real customer questions in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google and check whether your business appears in the answer, alongside three competitors from your region.
Can I do this myself?
Part of it, yes: adjusting your robots.txt and writing a llms.txt are not rocket science. Rewriting copy so AI cites it and building mentions take time and expertise. Our blog explains how it works, so you can decide for yourself.
Can I cancel the monthly package?
Yes, monthly. You are not locked into anything. Every month the report shows what shifted and you decide whether to continue.
Do you only work in Ghent?
We work from Ghent for all of Flanders. GEO work is done online; we hold the monthly call on your screen.
